My user name and password are working now but the experience has been horrible overall. I have lost an entire week of work and contacted Verizon multiple times because my user name and password would not work, but was unable to get anyone to help or return my calls until today. I uninstalled McAfee and the whole security suite about two hours ago and have had no problems since, after 4-1/2 days of constant, intermittent, unexplainable problems. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I think it is a probably with McAfee but I can't be sure. My cursor has also been going wild, typing in repeated spaces so that I cannot do anything on my screening and I have to shut down. I have had one problem afrer another with my computer.В When I reboot, it boots to a black screen labeled Hardware Profile/Config Recovery Menu and I have to reboot several times before it will boot properly. I work at home and have not been able to work since. On Tuesday, I downloaded the Verizon McAfee Security Suite. I had Verizon Fios installed on Monday (today is Saturday).
